This LOHC website/forum is presently not official. It’s a concept demo. Since you have discovered this test, please register and help us determine – first a need or desire for a community forum outside the HOA, then what it should contain.

The original idea was a kind of community NEWSLETTER outside the business needs of the HOA or controlled by HOA.

All HOA business remains at the HOA website. HERE

A forum or newsletter can provide discussion on personal hobbies like quilting or nature photography. Perhaps bird-watching on the lake.

It’s a public discussion space. Issues should be civil and informally discussed for opinion but this will not be a formal HOA complaint department. Serious matters should be presented directly to the HOA structure and officers.

So, let me know… Anyone interested?

I have concerns. I want this web publication to be informative, people friendly, and positive. A comfortable place to visit with friends.

Not the place to beat up the HOA staff and its operations. Or to complain about neighbors and the color they paint a door. The HOA has it own web site for that.

If you want to “report a serious HOA negative” please take it elsewhere.

I have posted about folks not respecting or perhaps not understanding the meaning of privacy. That’s a civil and legal issue. The HOA has no control of poor human cognizance.

All we can do is be aware and together learn to deal with that reality.

Such events as outside trespassing should be discussed as an awareness but let us not make this newsletter the vehicle to report specific people.

Call Frisco police, if you must.

I can create a specific topic discussion area here in the form if there is a need. Truly, my hope is that it doesn’t become a need….
